Prices of electricity likely to be increased by Rs3.12 per unit

KARACHI:– An appeal to hike the prices of electricity by Rs3.12 per unit has been filed in National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA).
According to details, the concerned authorities are likely to increase the power tariff on account of monthly fuel adjustment of the month of December.
The hearing on the matter will be held on February 1.
On the other hand, another request for a price hike in the K-electric bills of Rs1.79 has also been submitted under account of monthly fuel adjustment of December.
The hearing of this request will be commenced on February 2.
