Kech attack: PM expresses commitment to rid Pakistan of terrorism

ISLAMABAD:– Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Friday has expressed grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of ten soldiers of Pakistan Army in Kech district of Balochistan.
In a message of condolence, the premier extended sympathy with the heirs of the martyrs.
The PM said each drop of blood of the soldiers is the guarantor of security of the country, adding that the coward enemy is facing a strong nation which earlier also defeated terrorism.
The reaction came after ten Pakistan Army soldiers were martyred in a terrorist attack on a security forces checkpost in Balochistan’s Kech district.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the terrorists attacked security forces’ checkpost in Kech.
During intense exchange of fire, one terrorist was killed and several injured. While repulsing terrorists fire raid, 10 soldiers also embraced martyrdom.
Security forces also arrested three terrorists in the follow up clearance operation.
“The security forces are committed to eliminate terrorists from Pakistan no matter what the cost,” the ISPR statement said.
