Japan’s goat-shaped robot helps transport heavy loads

(Reuters) – Japan s Kawasaki Heavy Industries has developed its first quadruped robot that it believes can help with labor shortage in the country s aging society.
BEX, the robotic goat, can lift up to 220 pounds , developed the super-strong quadruped to help move industrial cargo in Japan where the median age is 48.6. The horned robot can move autonomously or by remote control.
