High Court’s nullifies Islamabad local body election ordinance 2021

ISLAMABAD:– Islamabad High Court’s (IHC) Judge Justice Mohsin Akhtar on Wednesday nullified the Islamabad local body election ordinance 2021.
The court declared that the local body elections cannot be conducted according to the new ordinance.
IHC further announced that Capitol Development Authority (CDA), Directorate of Education and Auqaf department cannot be divided.
